About Fairview

General Information about Fairview..............................The City of Fairview was incorporated in 1959 when many roads were still dirt and gravel.  Today, fifty years later, the city is often recognized for its convenience factor largely associated with many paved highways allowing the city commuters easy access to Interstate 40 and Highways 100 and 96 - and more recently an exchange connecting the area to State Route 840.  Just off Interstate 40 at Exit 182, Fairview is considered a geographic center for the state, offering its residents great convenience in their travels.

Fairview, located in west Williamson County, also offers convenience in shopping options, both in the city and just outside the city, due to its unique location.  It's only minutes from downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville, Bellevue, downtown Dickson and the popular Cool Springs retail area.  Fairview's convenience doesn't stop there - it also offers convenience in recreation, being home to the county's largest park, Bowie Nature Park and a neighbor to the Natchez Trace Parkway.  Overall, Fairview's convenience factor makes it a great place to live - and call home!
